Peak Into Resilience is an adventure therapy practice that integrates traditional mental health counseling with experiential and adventure-based therapy to support growth, healing, and resilience.
We work with individuals in one-on-one therapy sessions and adventure intensives. We also offer group therapeutic experiences for couples, families, friends, and co-workers seeking support for anxiety, stress, trauma, transitions, and growth.
Nope. Our adventure therapy sessions are tailored to your abilities and comfort level. Whether it’s a mindful walk in nature or a more active experience like rock climbing, we meet you where you are.
Sessions may take place outdoors in parks and nature preserves (such as Tumalo State Park, Farewell Bend Park, Shevlin Park, and Riley Ranch) or virtually, depending on your preference and the weather.
Yes! Safety is our top priority. All adventure therapy activities are conducted with appropriate precautions by our professionally trained staff.
Absolutely. We encourage you to choose your level of comfort. We can sit in a park, meditate in a virtual session, or incorporate movement-based therapy as it suits you.
An Adventure Intensive is a half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) therapy experience that integrates movement and nature with deep therapeutic work. Activities may include hiking, climbing, ski touring, mountain biking, or fly fishing.
Yes, you sure can. If you go to therapy elsewhere, or you just want to try an adventure therapy intensive, no problem! Submit an inquiry and we’ll get you scheduled.
Private climbing lessons are customized sessions designed to help individuals and groups develop their climbing skills in a supportive, one-on-one or small-group setting. These lessons focus on technique, safety, and confidence-building on the wall.
No, private climbing lessons are not therapy sessions. However, all of our climbing guides are trained in community resilience and trauma-informed guiding, ensuring a supportive and empowering experience.
Lessons are open to individuals and groups of all skill levels, from beginners looking to get started to more experienced climbers wanting to refine their technique.
Climbing lessons take place at designated indoor climbing gyms in Central Oregon and outdoors at Smith Rock. Specific locations will vary based on availability, season, and client preference.
You can book a session by contacting us through our website, and we’ll help you schedule based on your needs and our availability.
We are currently an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. However, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please know that reimbursements will vary by insurer and plan.
We accept credit cards, HSA/FSA cards (for individual therapy sessions), and digital payments.
You are entitled to a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of a reservation. For additional details on cancellations, refunds, and credits for future sessions, please see our refund policy.
Your first session is a 90-minute virtual meeting. We will focus on getting to know you, discussing your goals, and exploring the best approach for your therapy journey.
Typically, plan on dressing for the weather and bring water, sunscreen, comfortable clothing, and any personal items you may need. For more active sessions (hiking, climbing, etc.), additional gear recommendations will be provided. We will always help you prepare for your sessions.
Nope! Gear can be provided if needed, although bringing your own climbing shoes and harness is recommended if you have them.
We monitor weather conditions and may reschedule, modify the session, or switch to a virtual format if necessary.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to us—we’re happy to help!
