Climbing Self-Rescue and Psychological First Aid – A Technical and Psychological Training for Crisis Response in Climbing
This is a 3-day clinic that will incorporate basic, need-to-know elements of American Mountain Guide Association’s self-rescue procedures, PLUS evidenced-based approaches for managing real-time psychological stress, including a targeted plan of action for processing trauma in the aftermath of an event. This is a full spectrum course that will engage all parts of your brain by learning several technical rescue systems while also building confidence in your mental ability to swiftly respond to uninvited events in the vertical terrain.
